Hello, dear Sec 2s! I hope all of you will truly serve the council with your heart. Remember our 9th Council motto this year, which is to have the H.E.A.R.T to serve? Though the teachers have said a lot of bad things about you guys, it is all for the sake of improving us. If you don’t think it is right, then do something to prove them wrong! After what the teachers have said on Friday, I am sure you all would not want anyone to have a bad impression of you guys, so do your best and show them that they are wrong and remember to serve with a passion!
HEY YO SEC 3s!
You all have stepped up now! After spending time with all of you during the council camp, I have learnt more about each and everyone of you! I can see that each of you have the potential to lead, it’s just that each and every one of you have different styles of leading.
Now you all have taken over the council. I want to tell all of you that you all should not ever judge a person too fast because if you do that, you will lose out and miss out on all the good things around you. Remember that every council mate around you is important, whether he/she is an exco or a non-exco, it doesn’t matter at all! Don’t be disheartened if you did not get a post. If you guys are sad, think about it again. Look at me, jarratt, zur’ain and the rest of the councillors, we did not divide just because of a few titles, we stayed together and became even stronger. None of us were sad. We were all very united. So take note because this is very important!!! ALWAYS STAY UNITED!!!
Last but not least, I wish the 10th Council all the best. Thank you.

To my beloved 9TH STUDENT COUNCIL!
I have so many things to stay but time is always FIGHTING with me. Firstly, I would love to thank each and everyone of you personally during my investiture speech but obviously cause of time its once again impossible. Each and everyone one of you sec2 or sec3 has really contributed to the success of the 9th student council. In every event we plan, if you were not there to help coordinate, or if u were not there to participate in our camps or bonding sessions like boogie woogie or council day. How would all of this been made possible?
So thank you a whole lot for your utmost cooperation and ENTHUSIASM that I admire in all of you.
Seriously speaking, as seniors now to the sec1s, you guys NEED TO REALLY BE MORE DISICPLINED and watch over HOW YOU BEHAVE. Always remember LEAD BY EXAMPLE
You are a leader, don’t u want a follower? If not you lead who? I hope you keep the H. E. A. R. T close to your heart. I really believe that having the honour, being enthusiastic, having the right attitude, having responsibility and the ability to THINK is vital for a leader to be at his best. I am not saying this just because it’s the theme of my batch but REALLY I believe in this five powerful words.
At times If have been deemed as a useless president? Or if I had scolded you? Or if I had like make u stay back in school for long, long hours or even MAKE YOU come school super duper early. All of it had reasons cause I don’t do things for fun. However, please remember the learning points and throw away the bad memories.
I’m sorry !
Last but not least, leadership can be learnt but self discipline and school values have to be part of your life and NOT TO BE LEARNT when you are ALREADY in council. Keep that clear in your mind. Not forgetting your studies guys. YOU NEED TO BUCK UP and how? Time management and have strong believe/ self esteem in yourself. With all these you would be on the way to success.
Do always keep in your mind failures are just a delay and not A TOTAL PUT OFF. They help you develop yourself better. And being in the student council is a privilege, a honour. Going through the leadership is an advantage and meeting all the different types of people and having fun IS AN OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD NEVER EVER FORGET.
I am really sad and don’t want to leave the council. But well I am old and have to? Nevertheless, my mind will always be thinking of council, my heart will always be thinking about all of you and PLEASE DO LOOK FOR ME via sms or call or in school about anything, anytime. I do enjoy counseling especially for the COUNCILLORS. I will miss all of you and thank you very, very much. Sorry that I could not do anything big because I really have many commitments that you won’t want to know haha!
PLEASE GIVE FULLEST SUPPORT TO THE 10TH STUDENT COUNCIL . I HAVE FULL TRUST AND HOPE IN THEM TO INCREASE THE STANDARD OF COUNCIL AND MAKE IT MORE ESTABLISHED. THEY WILL NEED THE CONTINOUS SUPPORT AND LOVE FROM ALL OF YOU. GIVE IT TO THEM WITH ALL YOUR HEART!
My long long speech may be so politically correct? But I just typed this in 10 minutes and IT IS TRULY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART
I really appreciate the whole of 9th student council. You guys rock my life and have an important part of my SECONDARY SCHOOL life.
All the best in your future endeavours!
Love you guys a lot,
Shubaa

One year has passed and it now ends my journey as being a councilor – the voyage of the elites. Good morning my fellow juniors and 9th student council mates, it gives me great honor to stand in front of the council, the voices of the student body, and the shadow of existence of student leadership that lingers in the corridors of our school, to give my speech
In this swift passing year, my perception of the council has changed for the better. From the once thought to be a council of inflexible councilors to a team of leaders-in-the-making who thinks. I guess, to fully understand the councilors, is to be a councilor. I’m proud to be the one to witness who the councilors really are. To be somebody the others couldn’t be and to be someone easily misunderstood by and pressured to be almost perfect.
Needless to say, council had changed my life. It’s not the name of the council has changed me, but it’s the people in the council, the pillars and that’s you guys who has changed my life. It’s from the sudden needs of responds to meetings and to times where I could find a place to rest my mind when I’m feeling weary. I guess, the thing that keeps my head above the water is the balance in the council, away from the duties and projects is the welcoming arms of the laughter’s of my fellow mates who lifts the burden away and puts my mind back on track – From a listening ear to a friend to goof around with. You want it? The council has it. Of course, some things never change. I’m still as clueless as ever. But that’s okay.
To my juniors, embrace the very room you enter for duties. It’s not a storeroom and its definitely not just another room but it’s the heart of the school. Add things to it and let it grow and evolve. Don’t let the walls be bare but clothed with the honor and joy of being a councilor. Serve your duty with pride and carry yourself with the honor of a student. Spread the name of the council and give it all that you have. I won’t tell you how you should carry on the name of the council. Instead, I hope that you will dig deep within and muse over what you can do and make use of the fullest of your will. Use everything around you to its best capability and ask yourselves how you can bring it into the council. Now, that’s the passion and burning flame that keeps it going. The council’s the fire. The oxygen’s the ideas. The fuel is the effort of the people. The torch is you, the council as a whole. The sprinter carrying the torch is the teachers. Put your faith in them. Chase the clouds and ignore the wind that’s gushing against you. For your mind know of no limits. Pursue for the stars, run like there’s no tomorrow. Hear your heart’s beat, feel that passion that surges through our veins. Close your eyes and never question your will. Keep your council mates close, because they are the ones who truly know the pressure of being a councilor.
To the sec4s, stepping down doesn’t mean that we won’t shine anymore. The universe can turn off the sun, but we’re still going to shine. To my fellow councilors, thank you for the friendship, faith and fulfillment. Cheers to the legendary moments we shared. From myth to legend our council will make it. Thank you.

HELLO SCs! Time moves at the speed of light these days, no? It seems just like yesterday that we stepped up as the 9th SC, and now it’s time to say “anyong!” already to our term in council. My time as a councillor has been fruitful to say the least. All the planning and leading experiences that I had to go through, especially as ANP officer the past year, are experiences that I will bring with me for a very long time. I am not going into how they help me and what I learnt though (If I do, it’ll just be like writing a VIP reflection.) so yeah!
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys about something the council has provided me with which I feel is as important and even more precious than these experiences: COUNCILMATES.
The friends that I have made in the council (which includes you beautiful people!) was what made me stick to council all this time. My fellow leaders, as cheesy as this sounds, made me happy. It didn’t matter what duties I had or till how late it was or how many chairs we had to stack and carry or how many pumpings we had to do; doing it with my council mates made it all worthwhile. Sure, there were times when I thought “GRR, why is “(insert-name)” so annoying?” Okay, so I wasn’t that clear-minded, it was more of “GRR, I feel like gorging “(insert-name)”‘s eyes off and cook it for BBQ.” (Of course I didn’t blind anybody laah.
), but thinking off those thoughts now and comparing to the joy that we’ve had together, I was one bit of a fool. What’s different from council mates and normal friends are that council mates are, simple: they know exactly what it’s like with a badge on your uniform, and that adds up to a lot. So, what I want to say, after all of this, is simple too: Cherish your council mates! (Because not everybody has them ya’know.
!)
And since I am on this, special mention to the 9th sc! (SEC 4S!) and double special mention to my ANP family (AIIN & JAAARRAAAT.) for they are the council mates I cherish the most.(AWW T_T)

Heyho juniors! I want to tell you guys that no matter what mistakes and problems you have made or faced or how many scoldings you all have encountered, ALWAYS SERVE THE COUNCIL AND SCHOOL WITH A BURNING PASSION AND ALWAYS GIVE YOUR BEST!
What we the seniors have done wrong, I hope you all will learn from our mistakes and further improve on it. Of course, prevent from repeating the same mistakes again! For the things that we have done right, I hope that you all will also learn from it, make it better and improve on it so as to bring the council and our school to greater heights. To the 10th SC, what I think is a very big problem is punctuality of the councillors. It is what we never really managed to instill in the councillors, with all the busy “foundation” that we have to build for council, so I hope that you guys can curb this problem because the next time when I come back, I expect everyone to be punctual! If not, mass council DC for everyone!
Lastly, I wish the 10th SC all the best in the future and hope for you guys to bring the juniors and council up even higher.

Dear councilors!
After all these years working together like a big family, we are going to step down in just a few days. Looking back all these times I have spend in council with all of you, I feel that time really passes very fast. I can still remember when I just joined council when I was in Sec2, not knowing what will be lying ahead of me, until now I am going to step down with all these memory and experience. I have to say, it is not easy to be a good councilor. Though there were times when I complaint about having to stay up till late, wake up so much earlier, have so much to do, I still enjoy the time being a councilor when I think back everything now. I mean, these what make we councilors different from other ordinary students. We have more duties and responsibility than others. So, love what you are doing now, be proud as a councilor, treasure your time being a councilor and gain lots of experience. Secondary school years are short and time really passes fast. I hope that when it is your time to step down, you guys can also look back into all those past memories with smile and a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
It is sad that we are going to leave you guys soon, but it is good at the same time that now you have gotten your chance to shine. Take care of the council and work together like one big family. With our experience passed to you, I hope you guys can achieve one step beyond, continue 9th student council’s path and to further raise up student council’s standard and be even more successful. We have completed our mission, now it is your turn. Always contribute as much as you can to the council and serve with lots and lots of passion, initiative and creativity. I believe that you will not disappoint us!
Lastly, you all must also take care of yourself and I will definitely miss you guys!! =) Please don’t forget me as well~~ o_o!!

Hey!
In the blink of an eye, the seniors will be stepping down, while the new selected ex-co members will step up. To the new selected ex-co members, I wish you guys all the best in running the council. To the rest of the secondary threes, don’t feel upset, but still help bring council to a greater height. =DD To the new sec 1s and current sec 2 councillors, put in your heart to serve the Student Council and school. =DD
Studies are important too, so study hard, and at the same time, play hard! Always maintain a balance between, and believe in yourself that you are able to achieve it! =DD
All the best people!! =DD
Next, I hope that you guys had a great time with the seniors during this period of time. Although I have to admit that I haven’t been attending those bonding sessions, but you guys have brought a new colour into my life – I cannot forget all the camps, and PTRs that I’ve attended with you guys. Though it was tiring, you guys always bring smile to me. =)
And finally, don’t forget me! This small sized and tanned girl… Haha! =P
Will always remember you people! =DD

Ahhh finally my turn la huh??! Were you all looking forward to it? xD Well though I have been the quiet nut in that corner, except for the weekly emails when you all get to hear the actually-noisy me and doing evaluations forms and that embarrassing speech Shubaa made me do during the December camp where I was moving around aimlessly don’t-know-for-what (blushes), I have seen you all worked hard, heard you all complained (don’t worry that’s quite normal) and laughed together with you guys, and these are memories that I will keep for the rest of my life, along with the memories of my fruitful 4 years in council: happy, sad, touching, hilarious. (:
To the sec 2s, you all must work hard okkkkk, I hope you all had, in some way, learnt from the guidance of the 9th Council and had a good time as well as had fun reading my emails! It’s always nice to see you guys around and it will make my day if you guys can say hi to me any time you see me around! I will always remember you guys (especially after hearing Ji Wei say good morning to me every time I come by car to school, Jia Yee’s embarrassed giggles every time I tell her to speak to the juniors during orientation, Ryon and Guru’s endless nonsense and Aide and Liang Ying for always looking so cute together- no offence!) =DD Do take care of the new councilors!
To the up and coming 10th SC, the Sec 3s! I believe that you guys will make a great batch together! As we the 9th step down, with high expectations of you all the 10th, I hope you guys have seen and benefited from the experiences that we have brought to you and continue to even bring the council up even higher, as well as enjoy working with your fellow council mates, the way I do with my fellow wacky Sec 4s. Cherish them, because there’s lot of fun to be had in this coming year! I had fun doing evaluation forms with you guys (though they are supposedly boring actually), and I hope you guys also had fun too with me, one way or the other!
Well that’s it, isn’t it? It’s time for us to step down and I have to say I am very lucky to have worked with such an amazing batch, the 9th! I hope you guys will be able to enjoy working and having fun with your own batch and leave with beautiful memories when you step down, just like I do. I shall not emphasize too much on things that you guys need to remember, since I am sure the letters above and below mine will have done so adequately already. Unbelievable that we have stepped down already, as I leave this organisation close to my heart. I only hope that you all will remember to remember us, the Sec 4s, the 9th and say hi anytime you see us around and remember that we are always still around to help you all anytime! <333 you all always and will surelyyyyy miss you all!

HELLO DEAREST SEC TWOs! Can you believe that a year has passed, the reign of the 9th YTSC has ended, and the day has finally come for the great bunch of Sec 4s to step down from the crazy yet awesome organisation we call the YT Student Council? It seems to me as if it was just yesterday when we had our H.E.A.R.T To Serve Investiture and when you guys were newborns to the council. The time when the girls still felt awkward in their court shoes and the guys looked funny in long and baggy school pants, but look at you now. You guys and gals are no longer newborns! In fact, you are going to be seniors to the newborn Sec 1 juniors. Don’t you feel old now? Ha-ha.
It has been an amazing year, filled with ups and downs. But no doubt, I’ve enjoyed every moment of it! From Day One since you guys have been entitled councillors, until now, you have matured and grown. Not just physically, but in terms of your behaviour, your mentality, and as leaders. I am so very proud of you people and I bet your Mama Mariah will reduce to tears upon reflecting back on your journey as Sec 1/2 councillors. I really had an enjoyable time with each and every one of you in council and I will never forget the bittersweet times we shared! The Sec 1s now look up to you. You are their role models and depend on you to help them grow as leaders. Be good and nice seniors to them and help them in each and every step of the way. And also be good juniors to the Sec 3s as they take over the council. As they are new to being in charge of the whole organisation, cooperate with them and make their lives less harsh, okay? Continue to be your amazing selves and bring council to greater heights!
HELLO SEC THREES! 10th YTSC! You guys are PAPAs and MAMAs to the Sec 1s and 2s now! Another year over, but now, it has come for the great bunch of Sec 4s to step down from this awesome organisation we call the YT Student Council. The reign of the 9th YTSC has ended. Now, all hail the Sec 3s!
You guys are a big bunch of councillors and I have faith that you guys can bring the council to greater heights! Every single one of you is amazing in your own unique way and that’s what makes every one of you important in the council. To the newly crowned exco member, congratulations! As the popular saying goes, ‘With great power comes great responsibility’, you guys have a lot put on your shoulders, but do not be tensed, do the best that you can and you will be just fine! To the non-excos, hey, it’s all good!
Who says you need a named post to be a great leader? This exco and non-exco thing should never get into your heads! Love council regardless of whether you’re in the exco or not! I hope your flame of love for council continues to burn passionately and I believe you guys are able to keep the torch burning as it’s passed on from the 9th to the 10th. I love every single bittersweet moment we shared and I will miss all you adorable people to bits and pieces! The Sec 4s are so very proud of you, especially your Mama Yanzhen! I will never forget any one of you because to me, you guys are unique and special in your own way, no matter how eccentric you can be at times! My heart goes out to all of you, Sec 3s! All the best in everything you guys and gals do! I HEART ALL OF YOU WHO ARE READING THIS! <3 I’M GOING TO MISS ALL OF YOU, BUT I PROMISE NOT TO CRY!
THE SEC 4s LOVE YOU & WE’LL MISS ALL OF YOU TO BITS AND PIECES! <3

To: The 10th Student Council
Firstly, a big, big congratulations to all those who are in the Ex-Co. You guys must have been really good that the teachers have placed the fate of the student council onto your hands.
I know that some of you who are in the Ex-Co have gotten posts that you didn’t really want, but to make it sound crude, its either you do a good job with it, or you screw it all up by next year. Wouldn’t it be much better if you guys can work together and put aside all differences to really come together and bring the student council to a greater height?
To all those non Ex-Cos, it is perfectly alright! The thing that you can contribute back to the council may not be any lesser to those who are in the Ex-Co. If you think that being an Ex-Co would be much easier to get your juniors listen to you, then it would be wrong. As if you are really a good leader, it doesn’t matter whether you have an appointment or not. To serve is an honour, having an appointment is a bonus.
Talking about setting aside differences, I think the best example would be Samantha and me. Honestly speaking, we haven’t been really close friends. But when we took over, we knew that we had to set aside our personal emotions to get things done, so that the juniors would listen to us and would really respect us for who we are. That is the reason why you guys should not have a I-hate-you or I-love-you kind of thing, you should really be motivated to serve the school with all you have. One year passes by very quickly, by the time you step down, you must be able to tell yourself that you have contributed all that you can, and give all that you can to all your juniors.
Being the upcoming leaders of the student council, it would be really tough to handle your time, as you have your CCA, studies, council and some of you have BGR to handle too. I’m not saying that having BGR is wrong, but never let it affect your emotions in council and don’t let it be the reason why you are not doing a good job.
Next, not everybody would like you, and you don’t need everybody to like you. People may or may not support the way you do things, but most importantly, you have to fair and just, at the same time not being over dominant and harsh to your friends. It is important for all of you to support one another, and if the Ex-Cos are not doing their jobs, it is also your job as Sec 3 councillors to tell them how they can improve. And Ex-Cos please listen to their suggestions if they are correct. A good leader would make changes. It would also be disastrous if one day the non Ex-Cos do not want to support the Ex-Cos anymore.
At the end of the day, whether a batch is successful or not isn’t up to them, your juniors plays a big part too. I would say that my batch wouldn’t be successful without your batch to support us. Remember that you guys really have to put aside differences and work hard together in order to succeed at the end of the day! Mid years are coming and please study hard alright! Remember that the juniors are looking up to you guys already! Lastly, I want you guys to remember that
TO SERVE IS AN HONOUR, HAVING AN APPOINTMENT IS A BONUS! Work hard together and I believe that your batch can do much much better than mine! Prove Mr Tay wrong too okay, that your batch can do better than mine and not only as good! Jiayou and I would definitely miss the times with you guys and you people have really been a great batch of councilors which has that strong bond. Don’t let the Ex-Co, non Ex-Co thing spoil that friendship! You guys can do it!
With Lots Of Love,

alright so it’s finally come to the time for my beloved batch-9th SC to step down. As reluctant as i am to fully let go of council, i guess i’m left with not much of a choice eh? haha. after all, it is for our own good (for our studies),too. (:
First and foremost, i would like to say a huge thank you to all of you (current sec2-3s) for doing an awesome job in council!=) Without you all, I’m super sure that the 9th SC would not be able to function as well, as we are right now. After all, everyone plays an important part in council and nobody is EVER left out(: cos we’re a huuge family, that’s why [: heh. To the current sec2s, i wish you all the very best in going through another 2-3 more years in council and may you uphold the standard of the ytsc! Whereas for the upcoming batch of sec3s-the 10th SC, i would like to say all the best too, in running the council and leading the juniors well. I am confident that you guys are able to bring the council to even greater heights and change the negative mindset of the student body on the council! Remember, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE! Sure, you will be able to tell me that its 'easier said than done' but come on, think about it; if you don't start now, then when will you? Even if it didn’t turn out too successful, at least you'd tried? Or do just want to wait for the subsequent batch(-es) to create their history, and not yours? After all, it IS the time of the year for your batch to either make it, or break it. It’s your choice people. Just a tiny-weeny advice from me (:
And now for my beloved 9TH SC- its been 3years odd now for us being in council. We've gone through thick-and-thin together, evolved from a super naive batch to a more matured one(haha), were under different kinds of secondary4s who had a huge difference between them, always got nagged at-in sec1 by Saffir (our beloved papa!) for every single thing that we had done wrong, got lectured for somehow or rather being power-hungry, for not being able to appreciate the post as a councillor and many more.. sure enough, if i were to go on and on, it'll seriously takes forever so i guess ill (try!) to just sum it all up (: I seriously wouldn’t be lying if i said that my batch had gone through a pretty rough ordeal through our years in council, for example; the no. of councillors in our batch had dropped from 30+ (i think) to only about 20+ now. Which is really, really sad cause i guess, it's everyone wish to step up and down together, as a batch. And not as just a small group left (which is sadly, the rest of us here). But i guess some things are just meant to be this way so yeah, we've moved on. Internal conflicts here and there, power struggle. Face it, we've all been through that. But guess what? Now 3 years down the road, I’ve finally realised that the hardships and challenges which we had gone through together had only made us stronger, a more united batch. For that, I’m really, really grateful for what we have become today. Sure, we might not be the best SC batch in history of yt or whatsoever but for all I know, all of us did our part and looks like our years of hard work had finally paid off! (:
It had been a real blessing to be able to work with my councilmates cause to me, they're more than just friends-they're like my family! We laugh at each other's lame jokes, tease one another about nonsensical stuffs that wouldn’t even make sense to us in 5years down the road or so, argued over stupid, small little things, crapped about almost anything under the Sun and many more (: Can you see just how brilliant your batch can be? They really do feel like my brothers and sisters as I’m able to interact with every single one of them oh-so-comfortably and w/o having to feel paiseh or anything like that. No, really! I don’t see any point in lying to you about this kind of things so yeah=) and well I’m super sure that I’m going to miss them REAL BAD (as in seriously. lol) and due to the fact that we're bonded really well, its no surprise that we might still be having as-a-batch gathering a few years down the road!
D
council has been such an awesome, once-in-a lifetime kind of experience for me as I’m exposed to many, many things which I wouldn’t known if I didn’t join council. Sure to you right now, being a councilor is just being another student with more burden than the rest of the student body or as I would like to quote from a friend, "slaves". But seriously, as time passes by, ill assure you that you would be able to find out the real meaning and roles of a councilor. It's more than just leading people, its more than that ((: I know i'd been writing real alot now cos i just fell super, super hyper and when that happens, it’s pretty darn difficult for me to stop typing, you know. but yeah, oh well, i guess I better stop now. (cos im sure you're tired of reading it, too. Haha.)
alright last words; wishing the subsequent batches the very BEST in upholding the name of the council well!
) rmb, nothing is impossible! and its all in the mind, people! ((: and for the now stepping down-batch (9th sc) it's time to let go, people! now its time to go all out for our O/N's! CHIONG AH! =] and always remember that, our memories, the times we had together will always be in my heart
FOREVER & EVEEEER! hah
ILL MISS YOU GUYS!
love,

Dear Student Council,
I wish to thank all everybody for making the past year the most memorable one in my four years in yishun town. Thank you for welcoming me into the council with such open arms and warmth. Thank you for being my friends and giving me a helping hand should I need it.
To the 9th student council,
Hey guys. Let us chiong for O levels together okay? I’m sure everyone of us has the potential to score well. We just need to FOCUS. Nothing is impossible for us yeah? We have our lives in front of us. Try our best and let us be the best we can be! And thank you for letting me join back into your ranks at such a late stage(sec 3!!) and being so nice to me. Thanks shubaa for trying to help me with my duties although they were nearly negligible. Thanks Samantha for always being the one I can always seek sage-like advice to. Thanks Ken for being my buddy in the council. And thank you to all the rest whom I cannot list out due to shortage of paper. I will miss the 9th council very much. I will remember all of you for the rest of my life.
To the upcoming councillors,
Good luck! I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. I have faith that you will bring the council to even greater heights. Be confident in yourselves. Do not let other people define who your identity. Each one of you have been chosen because you possess a trait that makes you stand out. Do not let your individuality be destroyed. Finally, only do things that you want to do. Do what you think is right and everything shall work for you. If you believe in something and go for it, it will naturally fall in place.

Hello Councilors! =)
It’s finally time for the 9th Student Council to step down. The past year has been memorable and enjoyable working with you all. Although there a few bumps along the way, it’s through these bumps that we have come out stronger and with greater bonds. This is your time now, so make the most of the time you have, and work together as a Council, to bring it to greater heights.
It has been great knowing all of you, and rest assured I’ll never forget the wonderful memories we had during camps, duties, outings, etc.
To the 10th Student Council: All I want to say is, it’s been an honour for me to be your level coordinator for the past year. I relish the little talks and everything else we’ve been through together. I never regretted taking up this post and responsibility. I hope now that you all have stepped up as a batch, you will work together to bring the council to the next level. For many of you out there: Never give up on your dreams and never lose hope and faith in yourself. When you’ve survived the obstacles that are thrown at you, it will only make you/ your batch stronger. Time flies, so do what you can do, and don’t regret it later. Most importantly, your batch will only be successful if you all stay together no matter what challenges you face. So, 10th Student Council, leave a legacy behind, I believe you can.
Long live the Student Council!
With love,
Yan Zhen.

To my dear councilors!
I am very happy that the Sec 3s are taking over! I believe that the 10th Ex-Co can do a better job and lead the juniors through the right path. Always be strong in all your decisions. Prove to the teachers that councilors can be independent and take control the student body.
No matter what happens, you can always look for us as we will be too glad to be able to help you all and we will always be there for you guys. Don’t forget me okay! =D
Love,
Shera Elza

Hey guys,
First of all a big and huge congrats to all of you! Now that you people have taken over the council, work the extra mile to always keep up its good image. Whether you have a post in the executive committee does not matter at all. After all everyone of you make up the 10th Student Council. Those who are in the executive committee, you deserve a pat on your shoulder. Always remember to work together and never leave anyone out. Last but not least, I hope that you won’t forget us and personally I treasure all the wonderful memories that I had with you guys

Hello there!
Well, I just want to tell you guys to work hard to bring the 10th YTSC to greater heights, and you all must always stay and work hard together! I am sure you all can do it! I am very glad to have worked with the 9th YTSC as they have been the best council mates ever.
Do take care of the new councilors, and for the sec 3s, it’s your turn to lead now! During this year, do what you can to train the juniors up for next year and make the council image become even better in front of the student body. For the sec 2s, it’s up to you all to support your seniors in whatever they do, only then can the council succeed. That’s all and I wish you guys all the best
